Who we are
Ovet operates GOvet and this site. The person in charge of protecting personal information can be reached at the address below.
What we collect
If you join the waiting list: only your name, email, role and, for clinic teams, your clinic's name. We also keep proof of your consent: the text you accepted, the date, the time and the IP address.
Why
To email you about GOvet, including its launch, and, for clinics, to offer you a meeting. Nothing else.
Consent
You check the box yourself, then confirm your subscription from an email. You can unsubscribe at any time, from the link in every email or by writing to us.
Provider and storage location
Our emails are sent with MailerLite (MailerLite Limited), whose servers are outside Québec. Our team also gets an internal notice in Slack (first name, role and clinic, no email). Ovet completes a privacy impact assessment before any transfer of personal information outside Québec.
Audience measurement
To learn which pages and posts bring visitors, we measure the site's audience with PostHog (PostHog Inc., servers in the United States): pages viewed, the site or link you came from, and button clicks. This measurement uses no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. Your IP address is used only to compute a temporary, non-identifying identifier that changes every day; it is not kept. This data is never linked to your name or email.
Retention
We keep your information while you are subscribed, then delete it within 30 days of unsubscribing, except the proof of consent the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, or withdraw your consent, by writing to the address below.
Cookies
This site uses no advertising cookies, and its audience measurement uses none either.
